Globalists sowing seeds of destruction and lies.

I’m a biologist and an environmentalist. As such I have studied nature all my life (now approaching 70 years of age). I have travelled the world extensively, read extensively and have many intelligent, scientific, like-minded friends who are as disturbed as me. None of them are in the pay of any globalists!

The evidence is simply before our eyes.

Looking close to home – back in my youth if you went on a car journey the windscreen was splattered. That is no longer the case.

The sticklebacks, swifts, swallows, hedgehogs, snakes, lizards, voles, slowworms, newts, toads and frogs of my youth are now rare or absent.

Travelling the world I seen overpopulation, jungles devoid of life, overfishing, animals being slaughtered wholesale, jungles being ripped down and pollution, rubbish and crud.

We are systematically destroying nature.

Reading the journals of the ships that visited Africa and South America and the plethora of wildlife they encountered fills me with sadness. I’ve visited the same places and the wildlife is a sad remnant of what was.

The people who are denying this decimation of nature must either be blind or don’t get out much. It is right there in front of their noses.

We are driving populations of most species down to extinction level. I have no doubt that we are altering the climate.

I do not doubt the scientific reports for one second. I’ve witnessed it myself.

This Fake News is the dawn of a new ignorance and stupidity.

We arrived in paradise and we’re busy converting it to a desert, a wasteland or a sterile urban sprawl.

It’s time we woke up.

The only people profiting from all this are the globalists. They are getting free-rein to trash the planet for profit.

It’s them behind the fake news. Instead of seeds they are sowing destruction and lies.

OZ – A goanna at Salle.

Camping out at the coast at Salle was brilliant. The scenery and animals. Just brilliant.

This was a goanna we found.

Killing our precious animals for fun!!

Tess killed this giraffe for fun.

She grins behind his dead body in this shocking viral photo — but right now, we have a precious chance to turn this tragedy into a lifeline for giraffes everywhere!

Join the AVAAZ campaign and stop these bastards killing such beautiful creatures for fun!!

Balance – a Poem

Balance

Teetering 0n the brink

It’s all about balance and sense.

Clinging to life on the edge

For so many creatures it’s intense.

Do we possess the balance

Or do we not really care?

Is everything for the taking?

Do we want more than our own share?

Can we find the balance?

Or will our numbers swamp the earth?

Do we kill without a thought?

Not caring what any of it is worth?

One planet out of balance –

Plundered, ripped and torn;

Bewildered animals murdered

For fur, for space for horn.

Rivers, oceans, Jungles

Denuded, poisoned and cut down.

Gun and saw, fire and net

Turning land from green to brown.

Where’s the balance?

Moths and Beetles from The Smokey Mountains.

Being a Biologist I just love nature. It was fantastic to find these great huge moths and beetles. They are so beautiful.

Amazing birds at Bempton Cliffs.

EU Power Efficiency Laws prove effective!!

Great news for the environment!

Laws concerning the efficiency of electrical appliances initiated by the EU have succeeded in cutting our electricity bills by 25%.

EU Legislation has caused the manufacturers of electrical appliances to become more efficient. Our fridges, hoovers, ovens, kettles and other appliances now use much less energy to do the same job. This has not only saved us money on our bills but has reduced the need to burn fossil fuels to make our electricity which is great for the environment. When coupled with the introduction of LED lights this has reduced our electricity use by a quarter. Great stuff!!

At a time when over a third of our electricity is produced by alternative, non-polluting, renewable energy sources, this is brilliant.

The future of our planet does not mean we have to live like hermits in austere houses. It just means that we have to become much more efficient with our energy use (and conservation) and to produce it with non-polluting sources. It is possible!

So well done!!

Not opposed to guns and hunting. A poem

Not Opposed to Guns and Hunting

Recently,
A strange thing came over me.
I realized I was no longer opposed
To guns and hunting, I suppose.

The idea of it gave me a thrill –
To go in for the messy kill!
I’d developed an itchy finger
And a mind that would linger
On scenes of blood and gore
As bodies smashed on to the floor.
I could picture in my head
The bullet striking something dead!

Was I sick? Was I ill?
It was indeed a bitter pill;
To think that I was smitten
And rabid – I’d been bitten!

But I would hunt the trophy hunters
The poachers and dog fight punters
The badger baiters and cruel whalers
The seal clubbers and fur balers

That is how I’d get my fun
Nailing them! Every one!

I know I’m sick. I should get a cure.
But they deserve it – that’s for sure!

No – it’s alright! I haven’t gone nuts. I haven’t become a right-wing gun-totin’ nut. I haven’t joined the NRA.
It was just a passing whimsy.
I just hate all those evil bastards so much – the ones out there pumping machine gun bullets into rhinos and elephants, the ones out hunting all those beautiful creatures – lions, tigers and gorillas, the ones who are so cruel that they love to see animals ripping each other apart.
I reckon they all need shooting!
At least I can dream.

The Hunt – a whaling poem

The Hunt

I hear them come.

I run.

But there is nowhere

To hide.

I dive.

I surface and gasp

And dive.

But they are relentless.

They never tire.

In panic

I strain and race.

Their engines pound

Their mechanical,

Metallic coldness,

Their metronomic

Melody

Of death.

No escape.

No matter which way

I twist and turn.

They hunt me down.

Desperate.

I gasp.

And it hits.

It slams into my side.

Explodes.

Sending white hot barbs

Of liquid fury

To pierce my insides.

No matter how much I struggle

They have me

Torn, bleeding

And pierced

Writhing in agony,

On the end of a rope.

It pulls, it rips, it tears

But there is no escape.

I feel the life blood

Flow freely

As the searing pain

Floods my mind,

As my body weakens.

Yet still,

Futilely,

Driven by the

Will to survive,

With the knowledge

Of the hopelessly,

I thrash.

It is tearing my insides.

The agony is white hot.

My mind shrieks.

Yet there is no escape.

With gaff and hook

They reel me in

And, eventually,

I cease to struggle.

A hundred pound harpoon is blasted from a gun on deck into the flesh of the whale as it surfaces. It penetrates deep and explodes, ripping flesh and sending barbs deep into the tissue to anchor it to the ship.

As many as seven harpoons may be used.

The whale thrashes around in agony as the barbs tears at its flesh but it can’t escape.

It will take half an hour of searing pain until the loss of blood causes it to weaken and die.

The whalers do not care about the whales intelligence, nor its highly developed social life. They do not care about the songs it has composed or its family. They do not care about how much agony they cause. To them it is a big piece of meat to be sold for profit.

They bloody the waters, hack and saw the flesh into lumps to sell.

It is all about the money.
