Alligators in Louisianna

There were some big ones!!

Spanish Moss and Alligators in the Louisiana Bayou

It certainly was interesting going through the bayous in Louisiana. The Spanish moss, buttressed cypress trees and wildlife was fabulous. There were lots of big alligators too. I had a great time.

The Burton Agnes Jazz and Blues Festival 2017 – The Alligators

What better way to finish an evening than with a great blast of R&B. The veteran Alligators are stalwarts and always get the place rockin’ and everyone on their feet. The power trio perform old R&B favourites with a smattering of their own stuff and never fail to impress with their high-power showmanship and aggressive style.

Simon and Ben joined in with an impromptu jam and they obviously had a wail of a time (pun intended).

Those Louisiana alligators are heavier than you think. I had to wrestle that one to submission. It was forty foot long and as mean as a sabre toothed tiger. It was almost as big as that spider! The Spanish moss was awesome.

These are some of the places we should take care to conserve. They are so wonderful!
