There is so much to see and do in Lisbon. The beer, pastel de nata and colourful tiled streets. Warm, friendly and pleasant to walk around.

Exploring Lisbon – Photos

When I was young we hitched to places and partied. Now I’m older I visit places, see the sights and drink it in. It’s a different experience.

Nowadays the art jumps out at me. I see the beauty and I enjoy it. Back then I was too full of fire to settle. There was too much life in me, too much to understand and explain. Now I am quieter.

Lisbon – A fiery Dawn painting the city with colour.

It was one of those magical dawns which makes everything glow as if radiating an inner light.

Lisbon is a beautiful city. The sun splashed it with vibrant colours making it look like a work of art!

Arriving in Lisbon at dawn – photos

We sailed into Lisbon as the sun rose turning the sky into a wonderland of colour. It was magical.

Portuguese countryside – Rocks, Bulls and storms.

We were clambering around the rocks in the hills outside Braga, a storm was coming on the horizon, heavy clouds were gathering. A huge bull came around the rocks and started bellowing at us.

Fearlessly…………………

We retreated very fast.

Portugal – scenes from around Porto – photos.

Porto is a great city to visit. It has great food and the beer is good too! I love the tiled houses, the cafes and warmth. Old cathedrals, city squares, ancient history.

Lisbon – The Cathedral – Photos

We walked up the narrow streets to the cathedral. Inside it was massive.

We went up into the gallery where we gained an insight to the immensity of the building.

From the top there were views over the city.

Very impressive. These religious people sure do like to show off.
