So much to see in and around Porto, so much to do, people to meet, drinks and meals. Such a great city.
The trouble with mountains is that the top is never the top. You set your sights and pound away up the track only to find there’s another peak beyond that one. It wasn’t the top. Then there’s another and another. But the views are worth it. You earn the pleasure.
Walking out and about in the Ribble Valley is magical. In the midst of Nature. Up the mountains tomorrow!!

Walking up the valley past the dry-stone walls up on to the
Derbyshire is a beautiful county. The countryside is spectacular. We went for a walk up into the hills.
A lot of the palace was in severe disrepair and was being renovated for us tourists. Incredible to see though. Some of the detail was exquisite.
We went to see Nick play in a small club the night before going to see Roy at the Royal Festival Hall. The Borderline is a great place and Jakko Jaksyk from King Crimson joined him for a jam. That was special!
Nick’s gig was brilliant (though the lighting was low).
