It’s not hard being on the Queen’s estate. She owns most of Britain. They took it from us long ago. It’s a wonder we’ve got any ;left. We wandered and walked, climbed and rambled. It was beautiful. Didn’t see the Queen or the secret service once!

Back to nature and back to the neolithic.
We set off walking across the patchwork hills, past standing stones and walled mansions. It was beautiful!!
We took a walk up into the hills, along an old stream and past an abandoned building. T’was beautiful
Walking through the woods to our cafe for tea and cake while we watched the birds on the feeders! Fabulous.
If ever I want to replenish my spirit I head for nature. The trees and wildlife are nourishment for the mind. Such beauty. Such wonder. Majesty.
We took a long walk around the loch, discovering sundew plants and breathing fresh air. The sun shone, the water sparkled, birds played on the rocks, trees reached to the sky and all was right with the world. A pair of ospreys were nesting nearby.
We are living this plastic modern life but they were living a real life close to nature. I can feel the energy.
I love these neolithic wonders. They reach forward through time to grab me.
There is something magnificent and majestic about the Scottish landscape. I couldn’t stop taking shots.
