The land of the greedy.
The land of the intolerant.
The land of hate.
Ruled by a Grifter King.

Let me see now?? Just because he tried to fiddle £5 million on his taxes while he was chancellor in charge of taxes, does that make it a sacking offence??
Is it comparable to using a non-dom green card to avoid taxes??
Is it comparable to giving the landlord of your pub a few million?
Is it comparable to bullying all your staff??
Is it comparable to making millions out of lying about Brexit?
Is it comparable to giving out billions via the VIP lane to any Tory donor who asked?
Is it comparable to breaking all the covid rules you imposed on others?
Is it comparable to fiddling your donors for wallpaper, holidays, wine and god knows what?
Is it comparable to lying to the country about Brexit and costing us tens of billions and shoving us all into poverty?
Is it comparable to stupidly borrowing and borrowing to give to the rich in the hopes of growth and putting everybody’s mortgage through the roof?
Is it comparable to tractor porn?
Is it comparable to imposing poverty on everyone while making millions for yourself?
Is it comparable to breaking the NHS, schools and all the public services?
Is it comparable to lying about everything?
I mean it’s only a measly £5 million. That’s peanuts, isn’t it?
To sack or not to sack. That is the question.
Anyway, jobs done – can’t hang around, there’s money to be made!!

A Question of Priorities
There’s one percent for caring
And forty-four for war.
There’s a wall instead of sharing
And a world outside the door.
Millions for profiteering
Cuts for the poor.

I am really beginning to dislike the ethos of this country. It used to be outward looking, honest and trustworthy. It used to offer refuge and a helping hand.
What we have now is a narrow-minded, insular, little Britain – inward looking and nasty.
We have a government that lies, breaks international law and is destroying cooperation and trust in the name of petty nationalism.
They promote inequality with blatant cronyism and disregard.
I despise their arrogance.
They offer 1% pay ‘rise’ to those who risk their lives while doling out millions to Tory donors who are blatant profiteers. They then propose to waste billions on a 44% increase in nuclear weapons.
They insult our friends and suck up to tyrants and despots.
They disgust me. The people who support them disgust me.
IMPORTANCE OF IMPORTANCE
The raised fist and honest twist
The acid rain and asthma pain
The babies cry and darkened sky
The shrapnel bomb and arrogant aplomb
The plastic mine and doing time
The napalm cling and shredded skin fling
The penthouse suite and frozen feet
The Leah jet and yacht set
The bimbo glide and knife’s slide
The old boy tie and outrageous lie
The cardboard box and sly old fox
The turn of the wheel and anguished squeal
The turn of the screw and smiles that chew
The rocket’s roar and overdraft score
The prostitute child and ‘ain’t life wild’
The snuff flick and torture stick
The bombs that tick
The mind’s turned sick
The boy the chick
The country hick
The cunt the prick
The sneering kick
And all the things that get you one up
On somebody else
That make someone gloat
And someone else crawl
That’s the importance of importance.

What is important in life?
Is it all about hedonism?
Or about accruing wealth, possessions and status symbols?
Or is it about power?
Is it religious devotion?
We all live lives of quiet desperation – or so I am told. We are desperate to get more and be noticed; to be someone.
We live our lives in a bubble of mundaneity. Our lives are pulled along down familiar routines. But where is the substance? Where is the purpose? What are we gaining?
Do we merely mindlessly live?
Meanwhile the bulk of humanity and the whole ecosystem of the planet pays the price for the extravagance and ambitions of the few. The establishment leads us on a roller-coaster of greed, avarice, selfishness and belligerence towards a precipice.
Trying to be important creates war, poverty and destruction.
I would hesitatingly suggest that there are better ways to live a life and better ways to run the world.
Perhaps those who care should get involved?
