Orchids in England

Back in England we visited an old friend and took a walk into a land of wonder – a field ofwild orchids.

Beautiful bark, castles, flowers, dead shrews and frogs.

Whatever takes my eye is snapped! I like colour, nature and old things.

Scotland – Flowers and Trees

Nature is what I worship. Flowers and trees are better than churches, temples and mosques. More truth.

Today’s walk up my hill – A photographic journey

The sun was shining so I took my camera on a walk up my hill this morning.

It felt like spring. The crocuses and daffs were out basking in the light.

There were clumps and drifts of snowdrops in among the trees and on the banks. Other flowers were beginning to emerge.

The sky looked so big with great clouds.

I caught a glimpse of my Red Kite but he was high up and soon became a speck in the sky.

Then there was this little guy singing his heart out.

The beauty of Australia – photos

From the beach to the back garden – cocatoos, corellas, swimming holes, and flowers.

Sydney – The waterfront park with its incredible plants, flowers and art.

We walked out through the wonderful park with all its tropical plants, trees and flowers, great sculptures and wonderful views over Sydney. A hot lazy day. A beer on a bench. A meal of tropical fish and chips from the fish market. Great company. Lots of laughs. What could be better?

The Lavender Farm

Buzzing with bees, fragrant scent on the warm breeze. The lattes are good too.

Brazil – Ilheus – Nature reserve

He headed off into the interior to a nature reserve based around a river and waterfall very popular with the locals.

South Africa – Mandela, Wild Animals and Flowers.

There is something wonderful about seeing animals wild in nature. So enthralling.

Breezy Knees Gardens – Part 3
