Billionaires got to where they are through exploitation, not hard work. Isn’t it obvious? No matter how hard you work you cannot earn enough to become a billionaire.
Billionaires get their money from underpaying their workers and overcharging their products. They scam off the hard work of others.
In order to rise to the top they need to be hardnosed and impervious to the repercussions of decisions (the broken people they leave in their wake). The only thing that matters to them is hard cash. This is why people with sociopathic or psychopathic tendencies rise to the top. They either don’t care about the people they hurt or actively enjoy hurting people (the more the better). Narcissists have no doubt that they are inherently superior and more worthy than everybody else. Unlike us they are not beset with doubt.
A majority of politicians, world leaders and CEOs are clinically psychopathic or sociopathic.

I used to select my newspapers with the knowledge of their ownership and bias. I used to watch news on the telly with a skeptical eye. I mixed up a variety of inputs. I read between the lines and tried to keep abreast of situations.
I am a scientist so I am used to reading scientific papers. I look at the sources. I am well aware that the Oil Industry will pump out propaganda about Green Energy. I know that the tobacco industry used to tell us how healthy smoking was. I know the power of Big Pharma and the Agriculture industries. I add that into my thinking.
As an intelligent, rational, well-educated human being I rate myself capable of reaching well-thought-through conclusions.
The right-wingers, under the likes of Trump, Farage and Johnson, have spent the last decade disparaging experts, undermining science, spreading disinformation and supporting conspiracy. It was in their interests to sow the seeds of doubt and undermine the establishment.
Now, I have always been very anti-establishment. I know the entire system is run by the wealthy to maintain the wealth of the wealthy, to gain power and control us. I know Big Business just wants to exploit us and make lots of money. That’s obvious.
But… the end result of all this knocking experts, scientists, media and the establishment is that nobody knows what to believe anymore, nobody trusts any source of information and the conspiracists have risen in power. All this confusion is just what the right-wingers want. They have exploited it ruthlessly:

We don’t trust experts or scientists
All mainstream media tells lies
The establishment is pushing great conspiracies – like climate change and covid vaccination – in order to fleece us
Everything said against them is fake news
The only people you can trust are Trump, Farage, Johnson and Tice
So people turn to the internet and choose to believe conspiracy spreaders like David Icke and Alex Jones (who have made millions out of it). Social Media connects people and reinforces these nutty and often dangerous ideas. Deliberate disinformation and malicious information is targeted by interested parties – enemy governments, big business, political parties. Conspiracy groups like QAnon rise and gain traction.
Our algorithms are studied – Alexa knows more about us that we do ourselves – our political views, likes, dislikes and hates. He who has access to that information has the power to manipulate us

We believe that immigrants are paradoxically taking all our jobs and scrounging off the system. They eat pets and are wrecking the country. Their all murderers, terrorists, drug dealers, rapists and thieves who work in gangs and target white women. It’s immigrants making us poor and not the billionaires profiteering.

The only real source of information is via our selected internet site run by Cindy-Lou in Texas. She may be illiterate, having dropped out of school in the fourth grade, but she has her finger on the pulse. God directs her. We believe everything Cindy-Lou says. It’s backed up by Alex Jones, David Icke and Fox News. Besides, Elon Musk wouldn’t put it out on Twitter (X) if it wasn’t true and all my buddies on social media wouldn’t fall for it!
So, we were persuaded to vote Brexit, even though it is costing us an arm and leg, we elected a total self-serving, incompetent, lying clown as PM, suffered 14 years of corruption and the destruction of our public services and now have a fascist, lying nincompoop as a President!
I think I preferred it when I knew where I stood. We knew we were being conned but it was not as extreme.
So who do we believe? Where is this heading?
Who has their finger on the nuclear trigger? Is Donald, Mickey or Goofy?
Many people struggle with some things because they do not fit in with their mindset of the religious/social/political set they have chosen to adhere to.
a. We die and that’s it.
There is no afterlife, no meeting up with relatives, no infinite life in paradise/heaven/ambrosia/valhalla or any of the other scenarios we have created. We experience a loss of consciousness every night. Death is when we don’t wake up from it.
b. The earth is warming and this will have catastrophic effects of civilisation and wildlife.
Whatever Trump might wish in his desire to make money out of old polluting technologies and to win votes from disillusioned voters left on the rubbish heap by history, global warming is real and the world is in grave danger. The greenhouse effect is real but we do have the technology to put things right – we just lack the will.
c. Human beings are flawed and dangerous.
We seem to have a great love of violence and our lives are ruled by selfish greed, a battle for status and power and love of inflicting pain. Any really intelligent species would run the world a lot better. There would be no war, poverty, pollution of environmental disaster. History clearly shows that we have a genetic flaw. We have always made a mess of things. We elect psychopaths to lead us and are led by fear, hate and revenge.
We are nuts. We are destroying the very thing we depend on to live.
d. Evolution is real.
The human body is far from perfect and obviously not designed (unless by an inept and malicious designer eg.:
One opening into the lungs connected to the digestive tract so we choke easy (evolved from a swim bladder)
Excretory, reproductive and egestory opening in the same place so that our reproductive system is tainted with urine and faeces (evolved from a common cloaca)
Brain stuck out on a flimsy vulnerable neck prone to breaking resulting in paralysis (result of evolutionary cephalisation)
Joints and spine not adapted to walking upright hence they wear out and we end up we slipped discs, spinal problems and the need for new hips and knees (evolved from apes who moved more like chimps – on all fours)
I could go on with a long list of ‘design’ faults! Evolution is a bit arbitrary. We function imperfectly but we function. The faults extend to cellular and molecular anomalies – genetic defects, cancers and various disease – all of which all faults.
d. Science knows much more than religion.
Religion was born out of superstition. Science is born out of investigation, observation and testing of results. Science can be replicated and is based on the verifiable. Religion is a mixture of wishful thinking and guesswork.
e. The earth is not flat. We did land on the moon. The Nazis were ultra right-wing. The genocide of 6 million Jews did happen. The CIA did not blow up the Twin Towers. The Russians are interfering with Western elections. Covid vaccinations only have a small risk. Vaccinations have transformed our survival rates for numerous diseases with very little risk. Immigrants are not all rapists, murderers and drug dealers. These are all conspiracy theories.
f. The election was not stolen from Trump. The counting of the legitimate postal votes came late after the other counts and were predominantly Biden votes. The Republicans had dissuaded their voters from using postal votes.
g. Gun ownership does not make anybody safer. It merely arms criminals, psychopaths, political/religious extremists and those who are mentally/emotionally unstable. The statistics show how crazy it is.
h. The American constitution was written hundreds of years ago and really is no suited to modern-day civilisation.
i. Populist politicians like Trump, Johnson, Oban, Erdogan……….. spread lies about immigrants, election fraud, trans people, in order to spread hate and fear and drum up support. It’s an age-old tactic. Their simplistic, draconian policies do not solve problems but are geared to pull the triggers for emotional responses.
