A walk with friends up the river in Devon on a warm sunny day

Our good friends for the misty ages of time joined us for a walk up a river on the edge of the moors. It was a fabulous day. Mystery was in the air. Dragonflies, damsel flies, bracket fungus, fish and beauty.

Devon – Walking the Coastal Path to Woody Bay.

We set off from the Valley of the Rocks to follow the coastal path to Woody Bay – a beautiful route – majestic cliffs, woodland, flowers and butterflies.

Walking through the Valley of Rocks on the coastal path

The valley is incredibly beautiful with amazing rock formations and cliffs. There are wild goats on ledges and majestic views.

Sunset over the Valley of the Rocks

On the second day I went up the hill to get a look over the Valley of the Rocks with a view to getting a sunset. I love sunsets. They are nature’s magic.

I had to wait a while but it eventually happened.

While we were on our tour our friends Pete and Beck put us up and took us around to show us the sights! The coast was spectacular.
