Just for a brief moment, I almost felt homesick! I always loved taking that journey – a gateway to the long, beautiful hiking beyond. Having said that, we did a ride out yesterday, mostly through forest, but as we climbed it opened out to a vista so like being in Yorkshire, we get confused as to part of the world we’re really in! The only difference was that I didn’t need the heated grips.
