Turning on his friends, betraying allies, sucking up to totalitarian dictators – Putin, Netanyahu and Jung Un, siding with Russia against the West, selling Europe and the Palestinians down the river, tearing up environmental policies to rape national parks, giving carte blanch to the oil industry, putting draconian tariffs on his friends and trading partners, so that he can sneak through policies that give trillions to himself and his billionaire friends. Chuck enough in the air at once and nobody notices

Talk about draining the swamp.

This is a big, wide stinking sewer that he and his lout of a sidekick are swimming in.

He’s already totally bypassing democracy by giving out his Executive Orders. This is what fascist totalitarianism looks like.

He’s dicing with World War 3 and stirring up the whole Middle East. He’s undoing hundreds of years of careful diplomacy to give succour to the enemies of the West. China, Iran, Russia and North Korea are loving this.

When that apple cart is tipped over who knows where the apples roll.

All I know is that he and his family are going to come out of this a hell of a lot richer and everyone else is going to suffer!

The idea that ‘They’re All The Same’ is bollocks!

This prevailing idea that ‘they are all the same’ is utter bollocks. It is simply not true. The differences are stark. As someone who was in education for thirty seven years and a headteacher when Labour lost to the Tories, I saw the differences first hand and had to manage them.

Under Labour the school was properly funded. Teachers were paid well. We managed to employ quality staff (the type you’d want your children taught by). The curriculum was wide and teaching styles active and creative. Arts and music flourished. We taught through investigation, experimentation and had active discussions. Education was fun. Minds were expanded. Kids were switched on, enjoyed lessons and were taught to think.

We had building programs and great teaching. Buildings were repaired. There was equipment and a good teaching environment.

Kids were happy. Standards were high.

The minute we went over to the Tories we were starved of funds, teachers’ pay was cut. It was really hard filling vacancies. Good, well-qualified people did not go into teaching.

Gove narrowed the curriculum forcing out art, music and anything creative.

Teaching styles were stifled. It was back to rows of students and a boring three part lesson. The syllabi became 1950’s style knowledge regurgitation with kids in rows writing down information to memorise for exams. Turgid, boring and useless.

We had teaching by numbers, crowded classrooms, poor pay, deteriorating buildings and threw creativity and exploration out the window. It could not be more stark.

In this day and age knowledge is redundant. If you want to know something you google it on your phone. What is needed is creativity, lateral thinking and flair. Just what we used to produce under Labour.

I remember the day of the election. The minute the Tories won the national education platform shut down and all the resources were gone.

The same is true for all public services. The Tories use private health, education and security. They see public services as parasitic and really don’t care about the plebs. Money spent on public services is considered a waste. They like to rob the public services to give tax cuts to the wealthy.

I get so mad. Schools, NHS, Councils and Police have been starved of funds under the Tories – end result – libraries shut, potholes in roads, no youth services and youth clubs, decaying NHS, broken schools and no midwives or police. Even the courts don’t work.

The difference could not be more stark. As a headteacher I had to manage it!

The Tory Party was formed by the wealthy to look after the wealthy. They try to tart it up but that is what they do. Under them we have rough sleeping, food banks, poverty, austerity and a cost of living crisis – at the same time the wealthy have doubled their wealth!!

For thirteen years they have been plundering the public services, robbing the poor and selling off everything they can get their hands on. We have creeping privatisation in schools and the NHS. The previous Tory sell-offs – Post Office, Rail, council housing, power, water – are all in crisis. They are being bled dry by foreign investors. The posties have been on strike because of pay freezes and cost cutting, likewise with rail workers, we have a housing crisis, gas and electricity prices are scandalous. What a mess. The only people doing well are the CEOs with their massive bonuses and the foreign investors who are creaming it in.

We’ve seen VIP lanes, jobs for the boys. Massive salaries for donors and Tory kin. We have pub landlords and friends being given multimillion pound contracts. We have PPE, Lady Mone and massive fraud. Cash for questions. Cash for peerages. A revolving door into multimillion pound advisory roles for the likes of Cameron, Johnson and Osborne. Can it get any more corrupt and sleazy?

For thirteen years they have been robbing the public services, robbing the poor, robbing the local councils. They’ve been lining their own pockets, giving money to their chums and overseeing a system that sees CEOs with multimillion pound bonuses, oil, gas, water and power companies pulling in billions for their profiteers – which we all pay for!

The cost of living is through the roof.

Wages are through the floor.

MPs (PMs) and bosses have never had it so good!!

After thirteen years they have created a two-tier system of the extreme wealthy and exploited plebs.

The NHS and Schools are broken. Nurses, doctors and teachers could double their salaries by going abroad and that is what they are doing. Why train for five years to end up on starvation wages? Pay peanuts and you get monkeys.

The Tory plan is to privatise the NHS and Schools. They will drive them into the ground to justify academies and American Health Schemes.

Thirteen years of systematic greed and corruption, incompetence and sleaze. Thirteen years to break Britain!

And still a quarter of the population will vote for these corrupt politicians instead of demanding that they should be locked up for crimes against the British people!

Tory WAR on Public Servants.

For twelve years the Tories have waged war on Public servants.

They have slashed services, cut pay and reduced working conditions.

The Cost of Living crisis has exposed the problem.

Our public servants, nurses, teachers, border staff, fire brigade, paramedics, ambulance service, police, civil servants and others have been backed into a corner. There are huge staff shortages which means their workload is through the roof.. They do not earn enough to support their family, put a roof over their heads, feed, clothe and keep warm.

The public servants are seen as parasites by the Tories.

They do not (directly) produce wealth – so they are viewed as second-class citizens.

The Public servants are not parasites. We saw that in the pandemic. Without a good NHS, education, police force, border control and civil service this country is buggered!!

Stop giving multi-million pound handouts to the wealthy and start paying working people properly.

The Tories don’t need them. They have their private health care. They use private security firms. They have private education. They live in gated communities. They travel first class.

The public services are for the plebs. The less they pay for them the better. The plebs are there to work for as near to nothing as possible, to be exploited and then conned into voting Tory by the tabloid press.

As for public services – who needs ’em?

I think the whole public sector should come together with other sympathetic workers and do a mass resignation. If all of those, recently deemed ESSENTIAL workers, were to walk away en masse we might just end up with a better, fairer, more equal society.

For twelve years we’ve had a Tory government stealing from the poor, needy and public services to give to the rich.

Most of that wealth is now in tax havens off-shore!

It’s time this was put right!

A general strike or a mass resignation!!

FAIRER BRITAIN!!

Without a good, well-resourced, well-paid public services this country is in a mess!! It won’t get right until we get out priorities right!

Cost of Living Crisis – Just Greed!!

So petrol and oil prices go through the roof for us – but oil companies are making staggering profits. Don’t we relate the two?

So energy prices go through the roof but energy companies give shareholders record dividends. Don’t we relate the two?

So taxes are going up so that we can square the books. While billions and billions were given away in illegal untendered PPE contracts, loans and extravagant salaries for Covid Apps and Test and Trace. Don’t we relate the two?

So the National Insurance is going up to pay for the NHS (which was promised to be paid for by Brexit). But Brexit is costing us over £37 billion a year. Don’t we relate the two?

Benefits are cut to save a few billion. Tax loopholes for the wealthy, which would save tens of billions, are left in place. Don’t we relate the two?

The inequality gap gets greater and greater. The Wealthy are becoming richer and richer with multimillion bonuses while the poor are having to beg and use food banks. Don’t we relate the two?

The government is saving up money for an election tax bribe. Children are starving. Don’t we relate the two?

Do the Tories care at all?? No. They hold big banquets and guzzle champagne as if everything is great. It is for them! They’ve never had it so good.
