Into The Bluebell wood at Grosmont

We climbed up higher in Snake Woods where the Bluebells formed a carpet of blue. Beautiful. Like pieces of the sky had fallen to the ground.

Today’s walk up my hill! Photos.

We set off in the February sunshine for a pleasant walk up my hill.

The snowdrops were out in big clumps.

The wild daffodils and bluebells were coming up!

The moles were very active.

it really felt like spring had arrived. The sun was warm!

Tomorrow it snows!

The Bluebell Wood

The Lake District was bathed in sunshine. We crossed the field

and through the gate

and entered the wonderland of a carpet of blue.

The bluebells spread out among the green moss-covered trunks and put on a show just for us.

It was so English.

Photography – Wales – Ewloe Castle, trees. bluebells, bridges and streams

It was the beginning of Spring and a sunny day. The bluebells and wood anemones were out in flower. The stream was in flow. The old rocks of the castle stood out boldly from the ruins. The trees were in blossom.

It was all a new beginning in the midst of the old.
