Hiking through the outback is hot but very rewarding. So many beautiful views from the cliff-tops. The rocky shores and bays bathed in sunshine. So many colourful birds in the trees, Kangaroos sprawling in the shade, FABULOUS!

As it was continually drizzling we headed for the museum which was actually an old fortress on an island with a causeway.

I was particularly taken with the underground cistern with its arches.

Then we had a brief look at the ancient lighthouse.

Mull – Photography – Duart Castle and back to the mainland.
