Ruth has an amazing voice and was ably backed up by keyboards as she gave a performance that seemed to combine elements of Janis Joplin and Billie Holiday. I particularly like Ain’t Nobody’s Business if I Do and Had Enough of Your Shit.
Unfortunately Ruth was too lively and the keyboard player in the gloom so I couldn’t get great shots.
