France, Paris and Terrorism – A response.

The terrorist attacks in Paris are in line with the Islamic doctrine of fundamentalism that pervades in ISIS. Their views are extreme. They believe that all the doctrine of Mohamed has to be taken literally. The wish to return to the exact dogma of the seventh century, institute Sharia law, and practice Takfir. Takfir is a stringent application of apostasy that states all Muslims who have different views of that medieval version of Islam should be slaughtered or used as sex slaves, all infidels – kuffars – unbelievers should be converted, slaughtered or, in the case of Christians, subjugated. They wish to impose Sharia Law and bring about the Apocalypse.

There is nothing moral or tolerant about this doctrine. It is not rational or open to moderation.

Most religious people, including Muslims, are not fundamentalists. They do not take every word literally. They apply morality and rational thought to the words. Christians no longer believe they have to smash babies heads against rocks. Most Muslims do not believe they have to wear medieval costume.

I do not believe there is a god, afterlife or that any holy book is holy. I do not want sharia law imposed on me.

I stand with the people of Paris against the inhumanity of terrorism. Against those who wish to force their views on us. Their doctrine is pernicious.

I believe:

  • Religion is the cause of much evil
  • People should be tolerant of each other
  • We should look after this world
  • We should protect wilderness, forests and wild-life
  • We should educate everyone
  • We should insist on equality
  • We should be prepared to struggle for freedom
  • We have to stand up for what we believe
  • War creates hatred
  • ISIS should be defeated by exposing its cruelty, intolerance, and psychopathy.
  • ISIS should be defeated by starving it of funds.
  • ISIS should be defeated by educating people against all aspects of fundamentalism.

ISIS and all religious fundamentalism hates tolerance, equality and freedom. I am opposed to all they stand for.

I want to live in a world of love, harmony, democracy and peace where all people and all plant and animal life are respected.

I want a positive Zeitgeist.

  1. How many times have we all longed for that peace, how many more Wars, how many more deaths. I do not want more violence but I know Isis have to be destroyed once and for all, I applaud Hollande for keeping his word, but I know it will on cause more deaths, what is the answer?

    1. I think that education is the answer. We need to educate the world and make things more equal. We need to reduce the population and counter all this fundamentalism. I think violence generates violence.
though having said all that I think that the evil of this fundamentalism probably needs eradicating. The terrible things they are doing are too dreadful. They need wiping out. Some things are worth fighting for.

      1. You are right the more the French bomb the more it makes these people determined, life means nothing to them. Perhaps the answer is troops on the ground but Obama will not do anything he wants to leave office with a “clean sheet”, Cameron is too scared because of what has happened before. Hollande is protecting his people his Country and yes he is right it is a War. Putin is not scared and if the West had listened he would not have gone in so soon, this lot now moan about him so wrong. Everyone knows what Assad is like but can the West not see what he was up against what he was trying to rid his Country of, he wanted help what did the west do but arm these so called “Freedom fighters”, look at the other two countries Blair and Bush went in to, now a bloody mess. Sorry lecture over.

      2. All a bloody mess and we created it with out stupid foreign policy and aggressive behaviour. Saddam and Assad are both monsters. Gadafy was the same. But there were far better ways to address them!

      3. I’m sure some of them are but that’s a bit of a generalisation isn’t it? None of the educated Muslims I know are radicalised.

      4. Budhi – I’m not totally sure you are right on that. I think they have a pretty good understanding of terrorism. They just don’t seem to care. They see it as a side issue in the big scheme of things. There are power struggles going on out there to corner markets and gain control that go well beyond any threat from terrorism. They are quite prepared to accept a few thousand deaths as collateral damage but that isn’t going to affect the real power and control. They are just looking at a bigger picture. Ordinary people don’t count a lot. This is a battle between States.

    2. The answer is simple west have no idea about terrorism. The American policy maker have knowledge about its root. there knowledge is limited to Syria.they are not able to think forward from that.

  2. Hi Opher.
If only your wish list were attainable.
I very much think this really is further evidence of the machinations of Agenda 21 and NWO. The ship has left the dock. Only this incident is just toying around. It’s further proof positive just how easily such an attack can occur.
What astonished me (not for the first time) was the production of what looked liked a very much unscathed passport, purportedly belonging to a suicide attacker/bomber. Didn’t the same thing happen at 9/11, with claims one was found lying on the ground (again looking very unscathed despite falling through a 1,000+ degrees fire). Perhaps I’m wrong.
And again the authorities had had a previous decko at one of the attackers and did nothing. Another similar pattern.
It has yesterday suggested by the BBC, that France’s population’s period of mourning could turn into one of extreme anger.
That anger could lead into hatred followed by a zeal for vengeance.
France’s state of emergency status for at least the next 3 months works 2-fold.
What’s also particularly evident is the almost guaranteed riotous turmoil that could flare up in Germany, what with some 60,000+ homeless Muslims sitting like ducks. As escapees themselves that still may not make any difference to the hard core right wingers that are just itching for any excuse.
The massive escalation of bombing Syria by France & Russia won’t help either and could entice the hundreds of other heavily armed fundamentalist factions to surface.
Where are the independent news journalist reporters in Syria?
Why are they given zero coverage?
Fear is a very powerful tool.

    1. It certainly is. There are a lot of very convenient ‘facts’ that come to light. You don’t think we are being manipulated do you?
Thanks for that thought provoking input Andrew.

    1. Yes a great post. Good to hear from you Cheryl!
Things are rarely black and white. ISIL was certainly enabled by the West and their incompetent intervention.

      1. I think there is a lot of geopolitical stuff gpoing on here. They like stirring things up for their own economic, or political advantage

      1. That’s Politics, of course they all want something in the end. What do you think ISIS and their supporters want, they want to take over Western Countries, not peacefully because thats not what they are about. The next War won’t be like any War we have seen since World War II, the next War and its coming will be a Christian War even though there are those that say Christianity does no longer exist, oh it does for there are those that will fight for it. It’s all gone beyond “Talking”, talking to what savages that cut men’s heads off?

  3. Anna – I think those fanatics have had their day. They had their dream of a new caliphate and world domination but it has been blown to pieces. They are a defeated spent force coming home with their tail between their legs. It will trail along for a bit but everyone can see that it has no future. The steam has gone out of it. They are not attracting in new recruits. They no longer have a dream
We brought it on ourselves with unjust wars against so many Muslim countries. We removed law and order and allowed a vacuum for the fanatics to thrive in.
We’re making big mistakes at home too. We are not integrating the Muslims here so that they come over to our values. We’ve allowed religious schools and segregation. We should be insisting on learning the language and being taught in mixed schools. Stupid policies are being adopted. We should also be policing mosques and madrassas and insist all children attend properly regulated state schools. Integration is the name of the game.
But there is not going to be a Christian war. We’ve been waging that one for twenty years or more. ISIS and Boko Haram, Al Qaeda and the rest are being crushed.
