I believe that whatever it is I am writing has to be delivered with total honesty. My task is to put the thoughts, ideas and emotions into the symbols that are words. Those symbols are then interpreted by other people and translated into thoughts, ideas and emotions. If I have performed my task well the reader will have the same picture in their head as I had in mine.
My writing is graphic. I hold nothing back. Whether I am writing about social situations, life, death, environmental and political issues or sex I try to make it real.
People may find that offensive, upsetting, disturbing or offensive. They are used to having their information censored and sanitised. They are used to having the disturbing bits neatly left aside.
You don’t get a nice light easy read with my books! I try to keep it honest! I write the reality.
