It takes a really nasty piece of work to have the means to make a real difference but instead, not just to turn your back on the poor, needy, dying and desperate, but to actively go out of your way to create even more misery and death.

He seems to be enjoying cynically laying people off and throwing them on the scrapheap. That’s either sociopathic behaviour in which he doesn’t care about the result and impact of what he is doing and not doing, or it’s psychopathic behaviour in that he’s actually getting pleasure out of hurting people!

I don’t think that capitalism works for ordinary people. It was designed to favour the wealthy.

A dozen billionaires have the power to change the whole world, to right all the wrongs, stop all the wars, end poverty, cure disease, stop global warming and mend the planet.
If they were to pool their money and use their power they could change the whole world.
But they don’t.
They do not possess the mind-set, humanity or compassion.
Their heads are full of greed. They see themselves as worthy and superior. They pour their energies into gaining even more personal wealth and gaining more power.
It’s a disease.
It is sociopathic.
They already have more money than they could possibly spend in the most extravagant of lifestyles, but they want more. They always want more.
They turn a blind eye to the suffering around them and take the view that the poor and needy are there because of their own inabilities.
They see the forest fires, floods and misery, the destruction of nature, but take the view that it is there to be exploited. Everyone and everything exists from them to make money from.
Nothing else matters.

Scapegoating immigrants, cuts for the plebs, tax breaks for the wealthy and the glorification of greed. Who will come out on top?
I’m a socialist. I want a fair society where everyone enjoys a good standard of living, everyone has a home, and nobody stuffs away billions in offshore tax havens. I want a land with great education, a health system that works for everyone and great infrastructure. I don’t mind paying taxes if it goes to the right things. I don’t want the Tory capitalist dream of tax cuts, tax havens and cuts to public services and welfare. I don’t want poverty alongside opulence! The wealthy should pay more!
I don’t want to live in a greedy land like the USA with selfish, greedy billionaires like Musk, Gates and Trump want more and more and are prepared to push millions into extreme poverty to get it! I think that’s immoral!

They have things in common – they are selfish, greedy, self-centred, lacking in empathy, devoid of compassion, smug, entitled, feel superior, with over-inflated egos, a cruel streak, uncaring attitude and they don’t give a shit about other people or the future of the planet.
