I’m not sure if this is put on for tourists or not – there seemed to be a lot of Chinese people thoroughly enjoying it.
After dark you get in a boat that takes you around the waterways where various scenes and buildings are brightly lit up. You go slowly past musicians and singers.
It’s all very Disney!
The Chinese were wanting to inject life into the tourist market and it felt like the Chinese were putting on a show of what they imagined tourists would like to see!! Yet the Chinese seemed it awe of it!
Perhaps I’m just too cynical??
