As we left the island of Taquile there was a storm coming in and the low sun created an unreal orange glow that made everything look surreal. The reed banks glowed with their background of snow-capped mountains and the Uros floating islands were lit up. It was surreal.

That sunlight was glorious indeed. The whole world bathed in orange glow.
