Trump’s waning popularity is creating signs of desperation. He has been tweeting what amounts to Neo-Nazi videos against Muslims in order to try to appeal to his core of voters – the White Supremacists and Neo-Nazi groups in America.
He should be ashamed of himself. What on earth is the Leader of a country doing deliberately spreading hate and lies?? Talk about fake news?? He’ll being showing clips of Hitler next.
I am sure it will go down very well with that core of scum who form the Far-Right in America with their hatred of Blacks, Latinos and anyone with brown or black skin.
Britain First is about as obnoxious as you can get. They are part of the Far-Right with their assortment of Racists and Nazis. The Neo-Nazis of Britain put out all manner of obnoxious propaganda. But for Trump to take up some of it and tweet it out to his power-base, inciting hatred and division is unbelievable.
This surely must be an all-time low!!
What on earth does any leader of any country think they are doing putting out blatant lies and propaganda like this? Can you imagine any other leader doing such a thing? It is disgusting. Perhaps he should be focussing on doing the job rather than tweeting garbage? What is he doing looking at Neo-Nazi material in the first place? It says heaps about him doesn’t it?

He certainly is unique, Opher. The people who really scare me are those Americans who do not belong to the alt-right groups but voted Trump to bring about change – I guess they thought any change would be great. I have hope that he will be a one-term president and the next president will undo any damage he’s done. Every country has alt-right racists – which is why Hitler wasn’t stopped right away.
I hope he has crossed a line here John and people finally see what an awful person he is. He disgusts me. I am absolute ly outraged that someone in his position – supposedly leader of the free world – should be peddling fascist propaganda. Unbelievable. I just hope those decent people who voted for him now realise what they have done.
They won’t see. They can’t. They’re blind exactly because of what John said. All they want is change. No matter how it comes. They wouldn’t have cared, I don’t think, who it was that promised it. It’s just a blind rebellion.
At least the approval ratings are so incredibly low. The Republicans must be in a state about it. Maybe something will get done.

That’s true, on the other hand I don’t see any massive protest against Trump in the American streets just because social media keeps the people inside…
JL – there has been big protest. I think it will happen. It just needs a flashpoint. I think he is infuriating people.
In truth, although our own British politicians have expressed their outrage to Trump, I’m not sure that much more will happen.
I sent a tweet to Trump expressing my own outrage… A political Tweet from me has to be a ‘first.’ I just don’t do political, but this man is a dangerous bigot, mysoginistic bully with enormous power. I cannot imagine where his leadership will end, but for now he looks pretty smug and confident in himself. He is a dark force in the world!
I was absolutely appalled by what he did Colette. To put out fascist propaganda when you are President of the US is scandalous.
I have just recently read Philip Roth’s The Plot Against America which was about a fascist President (Lindberg) taking over America in the 1940s. There are some scary parallels. It is as if its coming true now. Who would have believed that such an extremist would gain power.
We are facing dark times unless he can be impeached!
That doesn’t really look very likely to me. He’s a slippery customer. Everything slides off him. Some of the things that have happened would have sunk other Presidents. Who would have thought that the American people, with their fear and hatred of socialism and communism, would have put up with Russia interfering with their elections? All the ugly racial and misogynist stuff is just shrugged off. The dirty dealing, tax evasion too.
If the Republicans get well and truly trounced then maybe something will happen. He’s a liability.
Such chaos everywhere. I shake my head and wonder every single day – How in the h— did he get in the White House? He didn’t even win the votes by a long shot. It has taken me a year to get back to some kind of center after the election. Unbelievable…
