It was great fun and interesting to see where they all came from.

  1. I piloted my own tour. Sefton Park was good too, it appears like Pepperland with the bandstand! Did you see the Barbers on Penny Lane?

    1. Hi Andy. Yeah – I saw the barbers. Didn’t see the bandstand though. It was a fun day out. I’ve been doing a lot of Rock archaeology. It is nostalgia I suppose. It is a strange thing to visit the places you used to hang out in back in the day. I took it all for granted back then; thought it would go on forever. I revisited Greenwich Village and wandered round. It was all shut down or touristy. Back in the late sixties it was thriving with lots of people like me and a great community feel. It’s kind of sad but it was also nice to stand there and look at places and remember. It frees your imagination.

I'd like to hear from you...
