Whatever the exceedingly stupid, arrogant, xenophobic and racist Farage, Theresa May and the ERG might think Brexit did not mean Brexit.
There were many types of Brexit.
The Hard Brexit – that those nincompoops forced on us – was a complete withdrawal from Europe (complete with arrogant name calling and nastiness). That cut us off from our biggest trading partner and is costing us a staggering £37 Billion a year.
What a stupid, foolhardy thing to do!
They sold this too us as a patriotic way of making Britain great again – it actually made us a lot poorer with less power.
They sold it to us as a way of solving mass immigration. It failed utterly. The French and rest of EU simply refused to return the immigrants. The transient East Europeans went home and clobbered our economy and more immigration from further afield came to fill the gaps and was much less transient.
That Hard Brexit is a disaster!!
A Soft Brexit – what we should obviously have gone for (given the stupidity of the vote outcome in the first place – out of xenophobia to shoot both feet off!) was to withdraw from the political side of Europe but remain in the Customs Union and Single Market – thus separating us from Europe but not wrecking our economy!
Thankfully Stammer is trying to put right this act of wanton vandalism created by Farage, Tice, May and the Tory ERG. Long may the lot of them rot for the damage they’ve done!!!
