Hank Williams at the Grand Ole Opry

Visiting the Ryman Auditorium was quite an experience. The building is historically the home of both Country Music and Rock ‘n’ Roll. This is where both Elvis and Hank Williams played.

Hank first played the Ryman in 1949 – the year I was born.

Looking at his suit on display in the Ryman was really sad. The guy was only coming up thirty when he died. There could have been so much more.

I could hear that lonesome whistle blow.

The Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry Nashville

Visiting the Grand Ole Opry in the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville was quite something. I played on the stage where Elvis and Hank Williams had played. That was quite something. You could taste it in the air.
