Beautiful, opher!! Sunsets over a sea backdrop are always so cool. One reason I still love living in the NW is precisely those vistas when sky and weather allow. Salish Sea sunsets have been a part of my life.
Oh I agree Jeff. I never get bored. There’s something magical about a sunset – particularly over water!
I love watching sunsets! Amazing pictures!
Thanks Pooj. I think there is something mystical about them.
There really is! I feel so peaceful whenever I look at a sunset or sunrise.
Me too. And they are all unique!
Sunsets are so amazing and thought provoking. I remember a brilliant sunset on New Year’s Eve, 2013. It crossed my mind 2014 would be the 100th anniversary of the start of WWI, and how 100 years before, there would be thousands, then millions dead that would never see 1915. Sunsets are times of rememberence, IMO, too. Thank again for the share, opher
You are welcome Jeff. I get a similar experience staring at a coal fire. You can watch the flames and your mind drifts into deep thoughts.
So beautiful!
They were beautiful Jennie. I’m a sucker for a sunset.
I am too, Opher!
Cheers Jennie.
😀
Yup! re: staring into fire. Though here it’s wood not coal. 🙂 Affect is similar, however. Yeah, I know…. bloody colonials. LOL
Hi Jeff – yes it’s largely wood here too – but I remember those coal fires well. You could go into a trance.
