Featured Book – Sorting The Future – A Sci-Fi Novel – some thoughts

I have never written a book anything like this. I made myself the central character and even used some biographical detail like walking the dog and meeting up with friends to solve all the world’s problems. But this is a Sci-Fi novel.

It started as a whimsy. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were panaceas for all the world’s problems? Wouldn’t it be nice if one could be eighteen again? Wouldn’t it be great if a benevolent alien culture appeared to make everything great?

Well that set me off. I described it as a yarn which put some people off. I suppose it is a tall tale. But it does have dark aspects and a bit of pathos too. As the story unfolds there are many twists and turns. The strength of the novel is in the telling of the story.
