The Huge Tian Tan Buddha on Lantua Island – Photos

We were climbing up this peak in this old bus. It bounced us about and the seats were hard. The first sight we got of the giant Buddha was when we rounded a bend in the road. It was quite a sight

We went right up the stone steps to have a close up look. it is a huge 34 metre bronze Buddha that is extremely impressive.

  3. It is! It was a little foggy when I went here. The fog added a mysterious atmosphere to the place which I really liked. 👍

    1. I can imagine that. It must have been quite atmospheric to see that giant Buddha looming in the mist. It is quite remarkable.
