The Beauty of the barren Egyptian Mountains – Photos

It was the early morning when we left Safaga. The low orange sun was bathing the mountains with ruddy light on one side and rich shadows on the other. Their stark barrenness was beautiful.

    1. They certainly had a stark beauty for me – especially with the early morning sun shining on them creating folds like a curtain draped over mounds.
