How much will Trump personally make out of the Tax changes they have just passed?

According to my friend Bill on Writer Beat it’s quite a lot. This is what he had to say about it:

Trump finally accomplished (almost) one of his goals, to make things better for his empire and his children at the expense of the American people (mostly his voter base). The elimination of the estate tax is a godsend for his kids (saving them $564 million dollars). Also, he will greatly benefit due to a 25% rate for pass-through businesses, and repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax (saving Trump $31 million dollars).
As I have always said, it’s all about him and not about us.

So it looks like this bit of legislation alone could net Trump and his family in excess of $600 million according to Bill.

I wonder if anyone has done any research on how much the various Senators stand to make out of this tax reform? I wonder who is going to pick up the tab for their swimming pools, yachts, condos and lifestyle?

  1. Even if not one senator makes a nickel from this tax cut bill, their donors will be so happy to finance their bids for re-election. Not looking good in D.C. but it’s not a done deal yet.
