Wharram Percy walk – Yorkshire Autumn beauty – photos

Today we went for a walk to Wharram Percy – about six miles. We set off early in an interesting light – pastel colours on the horizon. the Autumn colours are painting the trees. It was overcast but interesting. Occasionally the sun broke through.

The red berries were out on the hawthorn.

There were pheasants everywhere.

Wharram Percy is a deserted Medieval village. The remains of the church is the most visible building. The pond was beautiful with great reflections.

We were up on top of the Wolds – by Fairy Dale and Deep Dale. Great names for great places.

What do you think?

Photography – Fridaythorpe – Yorkshire taken today

I took these photos today on a walk from Fridaythorpe to Huggate in Yorkshire. I been all round the world and have yet to find anywhere as beautiful as Yorkshire. But then I might be a bit biased.

Hope you enjoy them!
