The previous Tory sell-offs – Post Office, Rail, council housing, power, water – are all in crisis. They are being bled dry by foreign investors. The posties have been on strike because of pay freezes and cost cutting, likewise with rail workers, we have a housing crisis, gas and electricity prices are scandalous. What a mess. The only people doing well are the CEOs with their massive bonuses and the foreign investors who are creaming it in.
We’ve seen VIP lanes, jobs for the boys. Massive salaries for donors and Tory kin. We have pub landlords and friends being given multimillion pound contracts. We have PPE, Lady Mone and massive fraud. Cash for questions. Cash for peerages. A revolving door into multimillion pound advisory roles for the likes of Cameron, Johnson and Osborne. Can it get any more corrupt and sleazy?

Boris Johnson’s self-interest power-grabbing Brexit put the most extreme bunch of nationalists in charge of the country.

The ERG set about purging the Tory Party of anybody who was not radical enough and so Kenneth Clark, Rory Stewart, Philip Hammond and their ilk were ousted.
We were left with an incompetent bunch of extreme right-wingers – the nastiest of the nasty – Priti Patel, Kemi Badenoch, Jacob Rees-Mogg and a supporting cast of incompetent twats – Liz Truss, Peter Bone, Nadine Doris, Chris Grayling, Jeremy Hunt, Michael Gove and Dominic Raab.
The Tory Party was effectively taken over by the insane asylum.
They’ve proceeded to apply their dogma and hatred of foreigners to the detriment of the British people.
The tabloid propaganda machine orchestrated by the Sun, Express, Mail and BBC, has cheered them on with bursts of xenophobic racism and a chorus of phoney patriotism.
Their stupidity and racist policies have resulted in huge losses and damage to the economy. massive inflation, austerity, pay cuts, destruction of public services, cost of living crisis coupled with corruption, sleaze and handouts to Tory donors.
Brexit has been a disaster for the country. Johnson a lying scarecrow. Sunak an insipid jerk. The ERG a bunch of despicable self-serving extremists who are lining their own pockets at our expense.
Yet the population of Britain has lurched so far to the right, has such a xenophobic/racist streak, that they are prepared to put up with all this and many of the Express and Mail reading working class still vote Tory and talk about how lovely Boris is. This gives the loathsome Tories hope.
I despair.
It is glaringly obvious what we should do (apart from a revolution). We should vote out these greedy elitists so they can make their millions elsewhere and rejoin the Single Market and Custom’s Union ASAP!
We can then renationalise water, power and rail, take the obscene profits back from the foreign bankers and investors, apply windfall taxes, properly pay our key workers and properly fund our public services.
In my opinion, anyone who votes Tory is either a complete brainwashed dork or a raving racist/xenophobic elitist.

When he met his comeuppance he set off to make his fortune stuffing millions away in the bank. He still took his MPs pay though even though he was abroad doing lucrative speaking and business deals (How much this year? 8 Million?). He’s missed 167 votes in the House. So much for representing his constituents. Being an MP isn’t even a part-time job. It seems that £86,500 salary as an MP is so petty you don’t have to even turn up let alone do anything. I bet the nurses would be happy to work for half that – and they’d turn up and work every day. Just imagine if they decided not to bother going in but to go around abroad doing other work?

The mystery is that there are still 27% of the population who’d vote for them despite the way they have robbed us and broken the country.
