Beverley Minster in the sunshine

Went in to Beverley to see Hamnet earlier in the week (well worth a watch!) and parked at the top of the multistorey carpark with a view over the Minster. The sun was shining so I took a shot!

Just imagine how impressive that would have been with just wattle and daub hovels around it (no car parks!). These religious nutters certainly recognised power and how to impress the plebs!

Today’s Beautiful Sunrise

I took these first thing this morning. It’s good to get up to a new day with such a glorious welcome from nature.

Frosty sunrise

I took this through the bedroom window this morning. It was a very frosty start. I liked the colours. There was a reflection of the lampshade in the shot but I liked that – looked like a moon hanging in the sky.

I was annoyed with myself – I took too long getting organised and it wasn’t as good as it had been ten minutes earlier. The light had changed. Should have hurried!

Photo from Home – Sunrise

We moved to our new house for the view. We overlook the fields. It has afforded us some magnificent sunrises and sunsets.

That’s the sculpture we bought from an Austrian artist festooned with solstice lights.

I’m a sucker for sunsets and sunrises.

Another slab of nostalgia – Oph and Pete

Opher 1971 – a bit of nostalgia for the old folk!
