I used a piece of my artwork for the cover. It was a spaceman in a spacesuit with a strange reflection of an alien in his visor. The image was on the surface of the moon with the earth in the background and was drawn by my friend Pete Smith. I did two paintings of this – one in an atmospheric blue and the other in orange and red. I thought the orange and red was most appropriate.
When put into the book size – trimmed – it came out looking like this:
I liked it even though it lost the Earth and Moon.
