There were lots of incredible things in Herculaneum – the colourful shrines, columns, statues and frescoes. One could get a get picture of what life had been like back then.

That traveling exhibit I saw was nothing as beautiful as this. The silver lining about tyranny is some of the fine art and workmanship it produces.
I guess they couldn’t take the stuff around. It’s fixed in place. I would like to have seen it though.
