It was quite incredible to stumble across a flower festival. It was near Easter and it one of their big festivals. All the streets were adorned with these incredibly beautiful patterns. I detected a slight religious theme. I think it was the photo of the Pope plus the DEUS stuff that gave it away. Quite religious these Portuguese.
