    1. It is shaping up well. it is so nice to see Hull getting some positive coverage! Brings back a bit of pride!

      1. There should be some but Grimsby on my Nan’s side seems to still be suffering. When she moved there in Edwardian times business and the ship yards were flourishing.

      2. The whole area has suffered from a decline of its traditional industry and a severe lack of investment. I don’t think the council have helped too much either. But maybe, with Siemens, we will see an upturn, new investment and a modern technology. The whole area will benefit. The future looks a bit more rosy.
