Poetry – All is flash and spin

All is flash and spin.

All we have are the moments of our lives; the sound of our words, the light of our actions.

Atoms are forever – endless time machines – until time itself dies, the energy is dissipated and the universe itself dies.

Light from the sun hits us and reflects back out into space to journey endlessly into the void.

Our words resonate through the atoms around us and echo down through the ages as whispers in the ears of generations to come.

All the moments of our lives exist for ever.

If we had mighty telescopes we could see back through time and space to view the actions of our predecessors.

Perhaps a race, somewhere in space and time will capture us and wonder?

All is flash and spin

Atoms spin and carry sound

As photons rush

And challenge space

Forever.

Each single action lives;

Each deed is

Imprinted

By the giver.

Each and every word

Resounds around

The world

Jostling

Endlessly.

Each flash of light

Still sparkles

As it speeds

Along its path

Crazily.

Everything is forever,

Frozen in time;

Nothing ever dies.

Each moment lasts eternally

In a history

That tells no lies.

      1. Yes, alright I like the Poem, well done. I was struck by the fantastic colours in the photograph, you should be pleased, I assume you took it? Have you been to your Facebook page yet?

      2. It’s alright I was just being facetious. I’m glad you liked the photo. They were lovely flowers.
I don’t really use facebook – my blog publishes through it. What’s on it? I don’t think I know how to open it.

  1. Oh go on try, I had put something on there for you for your Birthday, obviously you never looked at it. Put some pics on there this morning, or Jonathan did for me he could not get them to go on here – one of these pages. You’re the brains have a look at Facebook.

    1. I finally got on. Thank you Anna – they were beautiful. I love orchids and Japanese Gardens.

  2. I am glad you managed. Have you had a “Thank you for being a supporter of the Labour Party” phone call, had one this morning wanted to say thanks for me voting IN, bit put out when I said Out. They wanted to know as well about Corbyn and what I thought of him. So you should get a phone call too, you’re a Member as well.

      1. Yes it does. I know this sounds daft, but when I was coming through the Churchyard this morning, it dawned on me after all this time, how my mother and sister would set me up with the arguments and all that would be heard was my voice, they would keep quiet then. If only wisdom was there all the time.

  3. It must sound strange to you, but I just pass my sister in the hall and ignore her – I never speak to her/I don’t want to. At first it was odd but now it’s just normal to me and the house is big enough.

    1. That is odd. I can’t imagine it.
I sometimes do that with Liz but only when I’m sleep-walking.

      1. It is perfectly true, does not bother me. She has done the damage to me, I have nothing to feel guilty about. Believe me Opher when you have been as hurt and used as I have been, I feel nothing for her, she is easy to ignore.
