The Blues Muse is ready to go!
Thanks to Chris Moody and Liz Goodwin I have completed the editing of the book.
Extracts of the book now reside with Helter Skelter Publishers. I wait to see if they are interested in looking at the whole thing.
Fingers crossed. I think it’s great. Everyone who has read it thinks it is my best work so far. Let’s hope the publisher agrees.
I’ve got a feeling that 2016 is going to be a big year for Opher Goodwin!

i WANT A SIGNED COPY, OPH !
One step at a time. I have to get it published first. But I thought you’d prefer the original typed scroll!
At least a facsimile.
I’ll have to purchase a typewriter again!

I’ll have the black one on the right! Does it take wallpaper?
Can I have the blue one at the back of the “Ideal” looks like the one I had at the Prudential!
That’s great!!! Congratulations!
Cheers Mary – let’s hope this is the break-through year!
I want/demand a free copy in lieu of agent’s introduction to publisher’s fee!
I don’t remember an introduction? But the idea was a great one. Let’s see if it comes to anything first!
If it does you’ll get a signed copy!!
Good Luck. You and Andrew are like a double act.
If I get it published I’ll send you one too Anna!
Thanks Opher. Cancelled my Newspaper and Davis mags costing too much, now instead of my Guardian of a morning, I have your books to read.
They are very similar!
No, yours are more exciting and I learn.
How far have you got with Reflections? I’m dying to discuss it with you.
Sorry to say not that far, my fault totally things came up and one thing or another by the time I get upstairs of an evening when I usually read, lately by the time I have had my bath it is gone 2am and am falling asleep try to read after I have done all I should and it is 4am when I get to bed. That is why I said I will now read of a morning no paper to hand.
Have to chase up my order of yours from Amazon they sent me an email to say “order sent” after telling me I had to sort it out elsewhere, will let you know what happens. 2016 and still nothing goes right? Sometimes I think it would be better not to be here at all.
All minor irritations. Don’t let them get to you! Keep on planning that trip and then Vancouver and who knows…………………. You have wings!
No worries about the book. I am just eager to see what you think.
I will let you know and I will leave a review – how are sales going?
1 book sold in Jan so far. That’s all. But it is only the 3rd!
I had a brilliant review from Dave though. That was uplifting.
That’s great and you know I will give you a good review too. When I take several of your books to San Francisco anyone asks what I am reading I will recommend you strongly.
Careful there, Anna. The next thing will be Opher will have your luggage stuffed with his wares for you to hawk around every book shop that you can find! Seriously, I can see it from here.
Andrew, if I could I would do it for him too, I love his books. Should I charge him? You OK right now?
Now then Andrew – I was just wondering if I were to send you a lorry-load of books whether you couldn’t set up a stall for Saturday morning on the High Street? Only when you’re better obviously!
That’s great Anna.
Happy new year…
Read this short story which explains that nobody is absolutely strong rather its the conditions and perspectives which make us strong.

Cheers Nishan – I’ll give it a read.
There’s always somebody with more, bigger and better that we never realised existed. I had a quiet laugh to myself last week, ruminating on some money I had lost with an investment (wrong term) a few years ago. I was watching a TV show about the mega rich buying these super yachts. There was Sir Alan Sugar, who the show narrator disclosed as being worth 1.4 Billion pounds. That’s seriously wealthy, I thought to myself. Nah, Nah – the guy standing next to Sir Alan was worth 100 Billion pounds. WTF! I should have been a plumber!
I find it obscene. It is just a game. Wealth, power and status is addictive! It’s seriously senseless.
