    1. George is in there and I did consider Paul. I think that when he wrote with John he was a great balancing foil; on his own he’s a bit too shallow and sentimental. Maybe Peter if only for Biko, Solisbury hill and Sledgehammer. Ian I used to like but I’ve gone off. I saw Tull at their first gig and loved them. Peter Hamill is good too.

    1. I love Joni. But I was confining myself to British and I don’t think the Canadians would be impressed if I laid claim to them despite them for some obscure reason still hanging on to the Queen!

      1. I’ll put her in if I get around to doing a North American list. I might do that if I find a bit of time. I fear it will be longer than the British one though.

    1. Yeah – Sandy Denny for definite, Don’t know how I missed her. But Kate Bush – no – I never got into Kate. What others have I missed? Male or Female?
