The Channel Islands were the only part of Britain taken by the Germans in the war. The island was covered with fortifications, tunnels and gun defences built by the Germans to stop Britain invading.
Wow so interesting. As a history major I would love to see places like this someday.

Hopefully we are getting better as a species – education is the answer.
I want to think so but then there are some things going on which makes me wonder if things have really changed all that much.
Same people in charge Pooj – same greed, same power struggle. But, in general, I don’t think people are as cruel or belligerent.
Yeah I don’t think people in general are like that it’s mostly the people in power.
But we put them there! Perhaps we need a psychological profile before they are allowed to stand for office?
Yes perhaps we do!
I doubt many of our present batch would gain office!
