I watched this after seeing Simon Sharma in programme on the holocaust interviewing a survivor of the concentration camps. The survivor said it wasn’t the Germans. It could have happened anywhere. The hate doesn’t happen all at once; evil comes step by step.
The comparison with what is happening in the USA at the moment was salutary to me. I see MAGA taking exactly the same route, the hate, the racial purity, the scapegoating. Step by step. ICE and concentration camps. Blame, stereotyping and hate. Step by step.
The Nazification of the USA is proceeding. Project 2025 is its model.
Yesterday was chilling. To see Trump sitting in the White House with the war criminal Netanyahu who he should be arresting for war crimes instead of cosying up to. He was sanctioning genocide!

I wrote this while watching the tattooist of Auschwitz. An orchestra serenaded the newly arrived as they went to be sorted. A bunch of Nazi troopers watched, eager to execute any that failed to provide the right note. They projected a gay, jaunty melody. Behind them the chimneys belched smoke.
I could not believe my ears when I heard Rees-Mogg trying to twist the facts, making a series of lies and trying to justify the use of concentration camps.
In the Boer War the British burnt farms, destroyed the food and took the women and children hostage. They held them in concentration camps. These women and children were systematically starved and died in thousands.
No wonder they see nothing wrong in sending people to Rwanda!!
When you think how Ken Livingston was hounded out of the Labour Party for telling the truth about the evil Hitler whose first idea was to set up a state in Palestine and shipping the Jews there before changing his mind and deciding to exterminate them. In my opinion Ken said nothing wrong but Rees-Mogg should be locked up!!
