Gun Madness Continues in the USA – 17 Dead in Florida School Shooting.

How much longer are Americans going to sit back and allow this death toll to continue? How much longer are they going to allow mentally deranged kids, criminals and gangs to have access to assault rifles??

17 were shot dead in the latest School Massacre. They were shot my a nineteen year old mentally deranged student. He had already been expelled for discipline problems, had taken guns into school and frightened other students.

I don’t know about you but it seems madness to me to allow kids with mental health issues or major behaviour problems to have access to guns.

He was obsessed with guns and finally went into school with an AR-15 rifle and shot tens of people leaving 17 dead – the 8th most deadliest school massacre in history – so far! This was the 8th school shooting this year that has resulted in death and we are only seven weeks in.

There have 18 school incidents involving guns this year in what is an increasing trend.

2013 – 37    2014 – 58   2015 – 64    2016 – 48    2017 – 65    2018 – 18 (so far).

Everybody seems to be sitting on their hands and hiding behind this stupid 2nd amendment from an archaic constitution.

It seems insane to me that America is happy to put assault rifles in the hands of mentally ill kids and criminals. How many more deaths does it take? How much is the NRA paying and who too? Are they sanctioning kids being killed?

Surely it is time to limit the type of weapons being sold and to restrict who they are being sold to?

The Principal:

‘We could not have been more prepared for this situation … we have trained for this, we have trained the kids for what to do … We did everything that we were supposed to do.

I feel today like our government, our country, has failed us and failed our kids and didn’t keep us safe.’

Senator Chris Murphy:

‘This happens nowhere else other than the United States of America. This epidemic of mass slaughter, this scourge of school shooting after school shooting.

It only happens here not because of coincidence, not because of bad luck, but as a consequence of our inaction. We are responsible.’
