Lake Garda in Italy – Photos

Such a beautiful place. The lake, surrounded by the majestic mountains, with small villages, cobbled streets, narrow alleys and castles, is a great place to walk and explore.

  1. We stayed a night at a place just off Lake Garda the northern swing through Itay when we broke in coffee in the new car last year. Was a visual and physical joy, waking up and having coffee in the morning warm sun.

    1. We loved it there. The wine was good too – and walking in the dolomites with those medieval villages.

  2. We live in a land of mountains here, but, yes…Dolomite were beautiful in a different way for us. Never had “bad” wine while in Italy. Regional wines are all exceptional.

    1. Wine, food and scenery! The women were beautiful and the people friendly. Culture, art, architecture and history. It has it all.

      1. When we look back on our Italy adventure, we most marvel the drive we took around Italy breaking in the car. Yup, friendly people, beautiful women (my side is still sore for getting poked when looking), along with great food and wine, art and architecture along with the history. Italy did have it all…
