This man could have had his finger on the nuclear button!
He had a good knowledge of economics –
‘Bank failures are caused by depositors who don’t deposit enough money to cover losses due to mismanagement.’
And understood the environment:
‘It isn’t pollution that’s harming the environment. It’s the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.’
And he understood politics:
‘Republicans have been accused of abandoning the poor. It’s the other way around. They never vote for us.’
And a firm grip on corporate objectives:
‘For NASA, space is still a high priority.’
I couldn’t have put it better:
‘What a terrible thing to have lost one’s mind. Or not to have a mind at all. How true that is.’
You don’t suppose it was anything to do with money that made him vice-president? Who was pulling the strings? But he was the only conceivable person who could have made me wish so hard that George Bush would never become ill!

Anna – that’s not much of a comment???
Haha … one forgets what a klutz he was!
It is amazing to think that a man as ignorant and stupid as that rose to become the second most powerful man on the planet! Incredible. Who is pulling the strings and why?
With the money behind such people, it’s certainly not a meritocracy!
Too true. The rich pull the strings.
