We visited Thomas Hardy’s cottage when we went down to Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. The bluebells were out, the sun dappled through the trees. It was an idyullic scene. Here’s a few photographs to share.

What an amazing, magical place that would be to live! (Always practical, however, my first thought was, do they have ticks there? o_O )

Not that I know of. The only ticks in that woodland would be when you get something right! It was magical. It must have been idyllic to live and write there.
I want it, I want it – my idea of heaven all that wonderful peace and nature all around, now just the right man to love and protect me and I would be well away.

I just had an image of him as the big, tough outdoors man with a cottage out in the woods – fighting off grizzly bears and protecting his woman! That’s all – just me being daft as usual!

No, not daft at all in fact that is lovely and just the type of man I would love and would want to be loved by, I shall dream of that tonight, put Rod’s music on and oh well I shall be in heaven, well I hope not literally.
