We went up the windy staircase, across the walkway and into the temple. I’m not sure what we were expecting. It was different. Inside the stupa, there were many paintings of the Buddha, temples and scenes. It was massive.

Hey Opher.
A most remarkable building, majestic in scale, beautiful in design, perfect in its circular form. Somehow, in some way, it’s as if a mandala were made manifest in stone: the journey through the paintings surrounding the central column return us always to the shrine at its centre.
Thanks for sharing. Have a good day, catch ya later,
DN
It was remarkable – in all my travels I have never seen anything quite like it.
