Photography – Bridlington – Yorkshire seaside yesterday! Sunny beaches, cliffs and birds.
The Yorkshire coast is beautiful. Full of wide-open beaches, white cliffs and sea-birds. Great place for a walk, paddle or swim.
It’s not packed and the wild-life is great.
Here’s a few piccies I took yesterday. We had a stroll up the cliffs and a pint or two in the pub!
War memorial to 158 Squadron at Lisset (581 airmen were killed from this one squadron.

There is a stunning bird reserve just down from there. Dramatic cliffs and thousands of sea birds.
Yes Bempton. I’ve been there a lot. You’re right – it is stunning! I think there are a lot of undiscovered gems up here!
Hey Opher – A beautiful coastline, windy, wild, rugged and serpentine. I’ve visited just once – a school trip, long ago! – when we stopped for a breather en-route to the North York Moors on a Geography field-trip.
One day I will return and embrace it at my leisure.
Nice photos Opher!
Cheers Dewin. It is beautiful and very few people know it.
Hey Opher – I don’t know why that should be: perhaps people have the impression that the North is always cold, wet and windy? Your photos certainly contest that suggestion and for the most part our field trip was, as I recall, warm and relatively sunny for the entire week.
Have a pleasant evening.

So many misconceptions! Yes it is often warm on the Costa Del Humber!
🙂 Somehow I knew it would be.
