Me, too.

Never been but these are tempting …

It is a beautiful place – and the wine is great too!

It looks dreamy… my grandma loved it here. I can’t wait to go one day! Fabulous photos, thanks for sharing x

You are welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed it there – a beautiful place and beautiful people.

These places are amazing. Beautiful captures as well

Thanks Robert. I enjoy photographing places. To capture the beauty of a scene is rewarding.

Good to hear that. Good luck Opher. I also like photography

Ah, Lake Garda, seeing your photos brings back memories of a lovely week spent there. So evocative of Sophia Loren movies, in many ways. Nice to see the path around the lake in one of the photos. Which part of the lake is that?

Hi – yes we had a beautiful time there – stunning scenery, great food, nice climate and friendly people. This was near Malcesine. A lovely place.
Loading...
I know Malcesine. I loved it. It was raining as I remember. I have a lovely umbrella from there. Funnily enough.
Loading...
We had excellent weather – walked all over – went on boats – and travelled up into the dolomites. We also went to Verona and Venice. What a beautiful area. I loved it. Malcesine was delightful.

Verona too was wonderful. Fabulous place

Yes – did you visit Juliet’s balcony?
Loading...
Oh yes I did visit Juliets balcony. Very popular though! I really preferred the old frescoes in the old parts of the city. And the amphitheatre.
Loading...
Oh yes – I enjoyed them too. It was a beautiful town. It’s a shame it is all crawling with tourists – but then I guess we were part of that.
Loading...
What time of year were you there?
Loading...
Early Summer – not at the peak of the tourist season fortunately.
Loading...
Still a busy time as was the first week of July, when I visited.
Loading...
I’ve been twice now – about twenty years ago it didn’t seem quite so busy – and that was mid-summer. I think there are more people now.
Loading...
Yes. I do think so

It’s the same all over the world!

It has been a while since we went there. I think that was one of the expensive wineries. There’s one winery by 121 at the colony that has good wines and more affordable. I think the ones at grapevine are even better. Organic wine

Thanks for that.

Nice photo of Lake Tenno. We live just north in the Val di Non. Saluti e buon anno.

Thank you Allen. You live in a beautiful part of the world. I’m envious.
