Danica has very kindly nominated me for this award.
I’m big on respect. So this is a nice one to be given.
I’m not sure what I feel about rewards. As a teacher I was big on them but I can see why so many people chose to have award-free blogs. It is not about awards is it? That’s not why we’re doing it.
Even so – RESPECT – that is the basis of a lot of good things.
If you get the chance, take the trouble to visit Danica’s site. It’s very good!

In the meantime – RESPECT!!!!

Good luck
Cheers Anna – I’m having real problems with my internet connection. Can only do certain things. I cannot open emails. It is very frustrating.
How are you finding the books?
Started your Art book last night, well morning it was 1.30. Really very interesting, I love the way your wife, may I call her by her first name? I loved the game with your baby boy at that tine, I used to have a game with Jonathan when he was a baby then David-Patrick, we called it “flying angels” Jonathan would squeal and when he was able to talk it was always “more” I would lay on the bed and hold him up swinging him like a plane, happy memories, David-Patrick was so light I used to have to hold him so right he would wiggle. Evoked memories of the seventies. Can’t wait to finish the book, great drawings.
A good one to start with. Liz doesn’t like me featuring her or the family in my blog. She thinks I’m too opinionated and offensive that I upset people. I tell her that I only tell it like it is. But yes, by all means, call her Liz.
Babies are great aren’t they. I loved my babies and miss all those cuddles, squeals of delight and undiluted love. It’s not quite the same when they’re forty! – Still love ’em to bits though!
Glad you’re still talking to me.
Why should I not be talking to you, when your internet problems are all sorted, would you be kind enough to let me have that list again of order of books I should read, thanks Opher.
Internet is not going to be sorted until Monday. Seems I can still do replies on wordpress but cannot open emails. It’s like wading through treacle on the internet.
When you’ve finished the Art book then I would read the In Search of Captain Beefheart. That’s a biographical book about my life with Rock music. You’d probably find that interesting.
Then dip into the poems and have a read of the words that go with them. There’s a big range there.
It doesn’t really matter about the order. Just enjoy.
I hope you find them stimulating.
Andrew, if by chance you look in on Opher’s site. “good morning”.
