Photographs – The Deep in Hull

Visited the Deep yesterday. It was brilliant. I thought I’d share a few photos. These are the creatures that are in danger of being eradicated by our numbers and actions.

  1. Great pics. I live near the North Sea but have never been diving. I’ve a few nature/eco poems on my blog if you’re interested. I’m not into photography as such but have a few paintings there too!

  2. On no! Seriously? Starfish? We caught a ferry from Port Angeles in Washington state over to Vancouver island in Canada once and I was amazed at the how many different colors of starfish there were clinging to the pylons of the pier. Beautiful, magical creatures. It would be such a shame to lose them…

    1. It’s a shame the way the seas are being treated. Hopefully we’ll sort it out before it’s too late! Thanks for your comments – best wishes Opher.

    1. Why thank you – much appreciated and as I scientist I loved yours too. I haven’t seen the one on sharks but you went off with a big bang and some quantum speed!! Cheers – Opher (I’ll check out the sharks!) PS – you might like my Anthropocene Apocalypse writing.

I will definitely check out your Anthropocene Apocalypse post and look forward to hearing your views on my British sharks post.
