Nick is off on tour. It’s your chance to catch him live. The Edinburgh Fringe is always good. Get yourself a last minute ticket from Sydney, San Francisco or Cape Town. Buy a train ticket from Berlin, Helsinki or Amsterdam. Walk in from York. Pogo from Cardiff. It’s your opportunity to catch a legend, a genius on guitar, a master of song-writing, a fantastic singer-songwriter. Well worth the price of a first class ticket. What a great way to start your own world tour!
Nick is the greatest. You have to be able to tell everyone you’ve seen him. He’s the Mecca of musicians.

I’ll be going to Saturday’s gig in Glasgow. It’s at a venue over in the south-side and a royal pain to travel to via public transport. Quite why he’s been stuck out there when there’s a plethora of very suitable venues in the west-end is a mystery. I often get the feeling with Nick’s gigs in the Glasgow area, that his booking agent is totally clueless. The best place for him would be the ‘Hug And Pint’, some 150 yards from where I live. I saw Eddie & The Hot Rods there a couple of weeks ago. Brilliant!
Hi Andrew – glad to hear you’re going to that. He’s on form at the minute! Have a word with him about venues. He’s always looking.
I’d like to see Eddie again. They were scorching! Enjoy the gig and let me know how it went!
